Mandy’s 100 pound weight loss!

This is what worked for Mandy it might not work for you but here is her story

100 pound weight loss

My 100 pound weight loss wasn’t easy by any means. First I’d like to say that there are no miracle pills, no quick fixes. This takes hard work and commitment. There are tools that can help you along your way, but you have to use them as tools, not rely on them to do the work for you. You still have to get up every day and make the right choices, and stay positive and dedicated, even when you mess up, which you will, you just have to forgive yourself and get right back at it.

Diet

I was 100 pounds heavier then I am now. I was the heaviest I had ever been, miserable, depressed, always tired and I wanted to change but I didn’t know where to start. I was eating terrible, pizza, fast food, candy, I drank pop and energy drinks all day long. I never drank water. I was completely unhealthy. I felt that way too. Exercise

In January 2016 I decided to change my life no matter how hard it was going to be. I stated taking fit sticks and they helped me have energy and helped control my appetite. I stopped eating all junk food, and started eating 3 healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks a day. I drank only water, half my weight in ounces every day. I also started working out, going to 4 to 8 jazzercise classes per week. If you can not make it to jazzercise classes there are some other great alternatives that you can do right from your house like yoga, or MI40. Click here to see.
Working out was very hard in the beginning. I was out of breath, I couldn’t keep up. I couldn’t do what everyone else was doing so I would just march when they skipped, or jumped or hopped. But I stuck with it no matter what. I was sore all the time but I kept going .

My 100 pound Weight Loss

I lost weight fast in the beginning, it was so encouraging to just see the pounds falling off. 10 pounds, 30, 50. I remember thinking I couldn’t wait to get to 100 pounds lost. Now I am at 111 pounds, 85 inches and 12 Jean sizes lost. I am still 60 to 70 pounds away from my goal. My weight loss has slowed down a lot but it is still coming off. When it slows down you can’t let that get you down and make you want to give up. If you start noticing yourself slipping back to old habits you just have to go back to the start and pretend like its day one again. Only water, 3 healthy meals, exercise daily.
Now I can keep up with everyone when I work out, I can do all the jumping and more. As a matter of fact not everyone can keep up with me now. My goal is to become a jazzercise instructor. I also run and go to the gym for strength training. I still have a long way to go but won’t be giving up. Its a lifestyle change not just a diet or a fit stick. This article was written by Mandy.
