Testosterone In Males Over 30
It is no secrete that after the age of 30 a mans testosterone level can start to decrease by 1% each year. It is important that a man have this checked by a doctor to see if his testosterone level decrease is due to his age or a disease. According to Mayo Clinic here are a few signs that a mans testosterone level is decreasing.
- Changes in sexual function. This may include reduced sexual desire, fewer spontaneous erections — such as during sleep — and infertility.
- Changes in sleep patterns. Sometimes low testosterone causes insomnia or other sleep disturbances.
- Physical changes. Various physical changes are possible, including increased body fat, reduced muscle bulk and strength, and decreased bone density. Swollen or tender breasts (gynecomastia) and body hair loss are possible. You may have less energy than you used to.
- Emotional changes. Low testosterone may contribute to a decrease in motivation or self-confidence. You may feel sad or depressed, or have trouble concentrating or remembering things.

A males testosterone is produced in his testicles, and peak in their adolescence and early adulthood years. There are many ways to increase your testosterone. One way is with regular exercise. Getting on a regular exercise program is important for you health as you get older. It won’t just help with your testosterone level but with weight lose, blood flow through out your body, and a longer, happier life just to name a few. Before you do any kind of exercises you should first consult your doctor to make sure you are physically fit enough for a regular exercise routine. You should do the same before taking any kind of testosterone supplement as well.
